  • This is the most basic type of homeowner's insurance and is not very common. It covers the following perils:

  • HO-2 Forms are a bit broader in nature and features replacement cost as the tool of indemnification. 

    Broad forms cover personal property as well as the structure and includes coverage for the following additional perils: 

    Weight of Ice, Sleet, and Snow

    Accidental Discharge of Water

    Protection from Damage from Appliances 

    Freezing

    Certain protections from electrical currents

    Volcanic Eruption

  • The HO-4 Contents Broad Form otherwise known as renter's insurance will replace a renter's belongings and personal possessions. 

  • The comprehensive form is very similar to an HO3 with some major differences such as how your property is valued in case of a covered peril. Ask your Ryze Independent Insurance Agent to go over the details of your homeowner's insurance policy with you. 

  • Condo owner forms are very similar to renter's insurance in the nature that the condo policy mostly covers personal belongings. Condo policies vary based upon the HOA master policy.

  • An HO-7 policy covers a mobile home or manufactured home such as a single or double wide mobile home or a modular home. 

  • The HO-8 is typically meant for older houses that are not totally up to code. These policies vary in nature in scope depending on the age of the home, the coverage, and where the home is locate. Ask your Ryze Independent Insurance Agent about options for insurance on older houses.
